Extract from the book: "Grandfather, Grandpa and Pa Mowing Down in Bosnia!", by author Munir Alibabic - Munja (Lightning), a former director of AID BiH, OSS FBiH and holder of numerous other important functions.
Note by blogger: Grandfather, Grandpa and Pa are pseudonyms for Dobrica Cosic (Grandfather), Alija Izetbegovic (Grandpa) and Fikret Abdic (Pa).
Over 1981, the Grandpa (Alija Izetbegović, note by blogger) was working on the consolidation of his contacts with those sharing the same views, encouraged by success of the Iranian Islamic Revolution. He was having regular contacts with the members of the Muslim Brotherhood all over the world and the dollars were also coming to him.
Several clerico-nationalistic texts were written and published under pseudonym. Key programmatic, already completed material of ID (Islamic Declaration, note by blogger) was kept in secrecy because of the possible reaction of the police. Under those circumstances, several members of the Muslim Brotherhood from Egypt, possible accomplices, aides or connections of the assassins of Anwar el Sadat - found themselves in Sarajevo. The Grandpa's people were providing safe haven and hospitality to them, until they found their feet and moved on. The Grandpa's specific task was to provide haven and direct such cases further.
During 1983 investigation, his follower Zika explained how he had met the Grandpa. He recalled that in 1980, in front of the Bey's Mosque in Sarajevo, he was approached by the Grandpa, who introduced himself and tasked him to find during the day in the area of the Sedrenik settlement "one brother" (a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, note by author) who was exiled by Soviets, and bring him to the Granpa's apartment.
He executed the task and to the Grandpa's pleasure brought "the brother" to the Grandpa's place. The Grandpa thanked him and warned him on secrecy. Zika did not know the exact role of the Grandpa in this and similar cases, but he assumed that he was a kind of the "base" for the Muslim Brotherhood in the former state.
