Bojište u Kruševu kod Mostara 26. listopada 1994. (autor PD VI. bojna i MZ Kruševo)

Knjižica od 30-ak stranica "Bojište u Kruševu kod Mostara" nastala je u koautorstvu PD VI. bojne i Mjesne zajednice Kruševo, a objavljena je 26. listopada 1994. godine.

Knjižica se bavi događajima u Kruševu i Mostaru u periodu od 1990. do 1992. godine. 

U Bosni i Hercegovini se oficijelno govori o ratu 1992-95, i obično se za početak rata u Mostaru vezuju dva događaja - dolazak rezervista JNA 19. rujna 1991. na Bišće Polje kod Mostara (prije referenduma o nezavisnosti BiH 29. veljače do 1. ožujka 1992.), ili još uvijek neistražena eksplozija cisterne ispred vojarne JNA Sjeverni logor 3. travnja 1992.

Imajući u vidu da je knjižica objavljena 1994. i da govori o vrlo značajnim sukobima koji su otpočeli 1990. i vodili ozbiljnim pregovorima koji su se odvijali u Mostaru, ona baca u potpunosti novo svjetlo na ratne događaje u BiH.

Naime, u knjižici se navodi:

"Sukobi su otpočeli ranije. Tako su tenkovi jugoarmije napustili Sjeverni logor u Mostaru 17.06.1990. godine i nekoliko dana prolazili kroz općine zapadne Hercegovine. Prošli su kroz Široki Brijeg, Posušje, Grude, Ljubuški, Čitluk, da bi u Kruševu, kod Ćorića kuća, došlo do incidenta. Kolona tenkova naišla je na Selištane na ulazu u selo, mještane koji su se vraćali iz vinograda na traktoru i nisu se htjeli ukloniti nailazećim tenkovima. Verbalni sukob je trajao gotovo dva sata! Na kraju je tenkovska kolona produžila prema Mostaru." 

Iznimno su zanimljiva događanja koja su uslijedila nakon ovog incidenta, počev od formiranja Kriznog štaba Kruševa, prislušnog i osmatračkog centra Krivodol, ulogu ovog centra za Hrvatsku, kao i uloge kriznog štaba u naoružavanju i organizaciji prosvjednih skupova u Mostaru.

 "Hrvatska republika HB, agresija i zločin (Croat Republic Herzeg-Bosnia, aggression and crime " Mesud Hero andi Fuad Kovač: "Within this campaign, on the 9th of May, 1992, they targeted the Church of St. Peter and Paul at the Podhum settlement, as a result of which the Church was burned down. In spite of the fact that the majority of the civilian population of Serb ethnicity were not by any means related to this event, Croatian Defense Council (#HVO) and Croatian Defense Forces (#HOS) initiated a fierce retaliation in the area of #Mostar and its surrounding. At that time, at this area, there were about 25 000 Serbs. From then on, the hunt was initiated with the HVO and HOS military police patrols circulating through the town; they started to get in the people's apartments and with no further explanation, they threw people out of their apartments and houses and the persons found in the streets knew that they would be liquidated at the spot, or arrested and taken to the camps, from which many of them never returned.

In the growing tensions, the members of #HOS attacked the Northern Barracks on the 2nd of April 1992, when several military staff members were wounded. The Commander of the Mostar garrison replied with repressive measures and retaliation.According to the information of the Croatian Intelligence Service #SIS, the first liquidations, i.e. disappearances of the persons of Serb ethnicity were registered at the beginning of July, 1992, if the liquidations of persons "under accusations that they were snipers", who were killed with no trial in the course and shortly after the military operation "Dawns of June" - are not taken into account. According to this information, on the 12th of July, just by the Bristol Hotel, HOS killed Dragan Đuranović, nicknamed Đuro, born in 1956. On the 25th of July, 1992 Ljubomir Paši, born in 1950 (Sthepana Radića Street 72) was taken to the unknown location. He was arrested and taken to the unknown location by the members of security of Jadran Topić, the prime minister of the HVO Government Mostar. "Under unfortunate circumstances" on the 8th of October, Vasilija Hamović, doctor Konstantin Repović's aunt was killed. Three unidentified persons, according to SIS, robbed and then set on fire the leisure house belonging to doctor Repović in #Blagaj, then went to his apartment "probably to commit a robbery again, when the murder occurred". Regarding the disappearance of Dragomir Ilić, born in 1927 (Splitska Street 71), it was clearly established, according to the information, that he was taken on the 1st of March at 21:30 by Tihomir Burić, nicknamed Splićo, and two other persons wearing uniforms. On the 21st February Vladimir Pavić and Goran Zurovac went missing after around 00:30 they were taken from the Liska Street by Tihomir Burić and three other persons. This information states about the "#Goranci pit where the persons of Serb ethnicity were thrown" that they have the information that "about 60 persons were thrown to the pit so far". The first persons thrown to the pit were allegedly "snipers and arrested Chetniks", and as of recently most probably This document also mentions disappearance of 15 persons from Ante Zuanić Street 15. Military police officers were led by Tihomir Burić, and according to the information, this group also included Braco Zelenika, a younger son of Petar Zelenika. At that time, they were convinced that all arrested persons were of Croat ethnicity, but the group included also two Croat women, one Bosniak woman and one Jewish woman. The information mentions the data about vehicles and the registration plates of the vehicles, which were used during the expelling of these people. The list of persons who should have been expelled was prepared by Petar Zelenika and Rade Bošnjak, and it was delivered to Željko Džidić "to execute it through his men... With regard to the above, we have additional operational data and documentation".... During the operation "Dawns of June", on the 15th of June 1992, the Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity was burned down. Before that on the 2nd and 3rd of June 1992, the Church was shelled by HV (Croatian Army) and HVO. Following that, the Church was totally destroyed with explosives... With the concentration camps for Serbs, established at that time at Ćelovina (Šantić Street), the building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Heliodrom at Rodoč, this was a clear message to Serbs that there was no place for them in Mostar and that they were sentenced to death by politics.

Your Excellency Dear Commander Morales De Salas,
Following our meeting, I am taking the opportunity to ask you as requested by Bishop Pavao Zanic to enable us to visit the believers in the Dreznica Parish, located some 35 km away from Mostar. The Parish is comprised of several villages:
Gornja Dreznica (48 Catholics remaining), Donja Dreznica (8), Gornja Grabovica (56), Donja Grabovica (2), Copi (19), Sjencine (6), Perutac (19) - total 158. All villages are occupied by the Muslim forces. There is a total of 700 Catholic believers in the entire Parish. The majority has fled to the liberated areas.
The visit will include the present pastor don Milenko Majic, former pastor don Jozo Blazevic and a priest born in Gornja Grabovica, don Stjepan Ravlic, the pastor in Vinjani. His old ill father lives there. We would ask for this visit to be held already this week, on Friday or Saturday, if possible.
I am convinced that you will meet our request and with the best wishes for the success of Your mission,
I would like to repeat my appeals for the intervention on behalf of the endangered Croat Catholic population at the parishes of Konjic and Jablanica, and as of recently in the parts of the Parish of Dreznica, belonging to the Mostar Diocese, as well as for the assistance to all members of the Muslim population in need.

The letter addressed by the Bishop Ratko Perić to Mate Boban, President of the Croatian Community of Herzeg-Bosnia (HZHB), general Milivoj Petković, commander of the Croatian Defense Council (HVO) and Bruno Stojić, president of the Department of Defense of HZHB on June 24, 1993:

"Your Excellencies,

Upon request of the Bishop Pavao Žanić, I would like to address you as the most responsible political and military leaders at the area of responsibility of our dioceses in Herzegovina, I am doing this on my own behalf and on behalf of Caritas and insist in this letter to take measures in order to prevent and solve specific problems.

1) On Wednesday, June 16, 1993, one HVO soldier shot reverend don Jozo (Joko) Blažević from a fire weapon, while he was distributing caritas at the Parish of St Matthew at Rudnik in Mostar, where don Joko is a pastor. Unfortunately, this soldier heavily wounded the priest, so don Joko had immediately undergone a surgery and he is still at the hospital in Mostar. It is for sure that don Joko would forgive him this crime, but that does not mean that a man like this should continue walking with weapons around Mostar and Herzegovina.

2) While don Joko is still fighting for his life, today - Thursday, June 24 1993, we have witnessed a similar case at the parish of St John Evangelist at the premises of "Razvitak", Splitska 21, where don Ivan Vukšić is a priest. Several Croatian police officers attacked and beat inflicting severe injuries, several workers of our Caritas: Mr Jure Primorac, Mr Ivica Bošnjak, Ms Anka Đenero and her son Antonio.

3) We have also heard that one soldier pointed his weapon at fra Dane Karačić, a pastor of the parish of St Peter and Paul in Mostar and that also in relation to the distribution of caritas. We do not want to take up your time with some other less serious cases. (...)
